GENERAL FAQs

Q: What are the dates of the 2025 GEM Summit?
A: The dates for the 2025 GEM Summit are April 23-26, 2025.

Q: When will registration open for the 2025 GEM Summit?
A: Registration is scheduled to open December 2, 2024.
 
Q: What is the optional GEM Certificate?
A: The GEM Certificate is earned by attending certain sessions selected by the Education Chair and the Conference Planning Committee that span the Educational Domains of the NAGAP GEM Summit. This is explained in depth when you check-in for the meeting. After the GEM Summit if you have completed the certificate, you will receive a Credly badge that you can display on your LinkedIn, Social Media, email signature, etc.

Q: Is there a Fun Run during the 2025 GEM Summit?
A: The 2025 GEM Summit will not have a Fun Run but instead will host a yoga class on Thursday morning in its place. Please select this option in the registration if you would like to join us at 6am, Thursday, April 24.

Q: What is the optional off-site event?
A: The off-site event this year will be at Lucky Strike. This is a fun networking event every year. This event is complimentary with your conference registration however, we kindly request that you indicate in your registration if you will be attending this optional event or not as we do need to purchase busses to transport attendees to the venue and want to make sure we have space available for all those that will be attending and also be mindful of NAGAP’s funds rather than have space for those that do not plan to attend.

Q: What is the Pre-Summit Institute?
A: The Pre-Summit Institute is a half-day professional development event held on Wednesday before the start of the GEM Summit. This event highlights a specific topic or issue that is particularly relevant or urgent to all graduate enrollment managers. For more information about the 2025 Pre-Summit Institute, please visit here.

Q: How do I get a copy of the presentation slides?
A: If presenters give NAGAP permission to share their slides, these will be available in the mobile app and website for all registered attendees after the presentations are completed.

Q: How will I gain access to the app or the login portion of the website?
A: You will receive your credentials a week or two prior to the meeting. If you need them after that, you can request them via email or visit the registration booth staff on-site.

Q: Is there any way I can help at the 2025 GEM Summit?
A: The GEM Summit would not be a success without our volunteers. In the spring we will open the Volunteer Signup. Tasks include assisting with registration and serving as moderators and recorders.

Q: I have already registered and paid for the 2025 GEM Summit, but I can no longer attend. What are my options?
A: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to NAGAP by email to info@nagap.org and be received no later than April 1, 2025. All fees paid will be refunded minus a $100 processing fee. There will be no refunds after the April 1, 2025 deadline.

Q: Are there any discounts available to attend the 2025 GEM Summit?
A: If you are not currently a member of NAGAP, you are welcome to join in order to receive the member pricing. This new pricing will take effect immediately upon joining.

FUTURE GEM SUMMITS

Q: The NAGAP GEM Summit is always wonderful. How can I submit a proposal?
A: Each year NAGAP puts out a Call for Proposals for submissions from its members. The Call for Proposals for the 2026 GEM Summit should open in July 2025. Please also remember to fill out the survey after the GEM Summit if you have suggestions of topics that you would like to hear more about in 2026.

Q: Where will the 2026 GEM Summit be held?
A: The 2026 GEM Summit will be held in Baltimore, Maryland.
