International Education Research Foundation (IERF) was established in 1969 as a non-profit, public-benefit agency in California that conducts research on international education and prepares credentials evaluations for persons that have studied outside of the United States and need a statement of educational equivalency. IERF is the first credential evaluation service in the world. For over 55 years, IERF has helped students and professionals worldwide achieve their academic and career goals in the United States. Applicants’ hard-earned achievements are carefully reviewed and evaluated by our seasoned and multilingual valuators to ensure accurate reflection of their academic and professional accomplishments. IERF is a Founding Member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES®), a leading organization dedicated to maintaining ethical and professional standards for credential evaluation in the United States. Our many institutional clients, governmental organizations, and employers rely on IERF as a trusted partner in upholding their standards for school and college admissions, state licensure, recruitment, and employment. Through innovative tools such as EvalDirect, IERF empowers policymakers, admissions personnel, administrators, recruiters, and employers with the ability to monitor, track, and manage applicants’ documents and evaluations. IERF is committed to advancing the field of credential evaluation while supporting and giving back to the community. We conduct research in international education, develop training materials and resources, and produce publications. Our staff frequently share their expertise by presenting at conferences. Institutions and organizations also have access to IERF’s valuable research materials at no cost through the IERF VAULT. Website: http://www.ierf.org
