Coming straight out of undergraduate, to working in the graduate enrollment space at the same institution, came with a steep learning curve. While not uncommon for recent undergraduates to work in an admissions space, changing staffing models, leadership and programming in my past three years working in the graduate enrollment space have led to fast changes in the scope of responsibilities, and level of management in my position. As the youngest member, yet with the longest tenure at my institution of those on my direct team, working with staff, faculty, administrators and graduate students in my role has presented unique challenges. In my role, I have helped onboard multiple staff members to the institution, while also offering direction for faculty and program directors who have come into their positions new, from various other roles on campus. Changing leadership has resulted in increased responsibilities to those in higher level leadership positions, requiring organization, detail awareness and continued learning in my position. Working with graduate students, while being in a similar or younger generation, without a graduate degree myself, has also challenged me. Join me on my journey to collaborate, lead and innovate, while also learning, and fighting imposter syndrome

Developing strategies to work collaboratively with other staff members after initial onboarding
