Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment University of North Carolina Greensboro, Bryan School of Business and Economics Greensboro, North Carolina, United States
This session will summarize how a graduate recruitment team with limited knowledge and expertise in the areas of financial aid and scholarships used an online survey to inform the development of a comprehensive Finance & Funding Webinar highlighting the various funding options used by current students and available to prospective graduate students. Initially developed as a virtual presentation for newly admitted students, the webinar is now offered monthly, its content has been transformed into an online Finance & Funding Guide, and it often serves as the first point of contact for prospective students interested in our graduate programs. By providing up-front, straightforward answers to finance and funding questions and gathering related resources into one place, we’re demystifying the finance and funding process and empowering prospective students with the answers they need to confidently pursue their academic goals.
Learning Objectives:
Understand how online surveys can be used to safely gather finance and funding information from current students
Learn how to research and compile available finance and funding resources
Have access to a framework that can be used to develop their own finance and funding webinar for prospective students
