This session will present the finding of the equity and access research study which examines how admissions and enrollment managment professionals' conceptualize diversity and equity, and navigate their work in the context of institutional language, post-affirmative action. The findings of this study wll invite participants to consider how their understanding of DEIB is influenced by a milieu of language, legislation, and lived experiences, and how these concepts may affect recruitment activities and enrollment efforts.
