Katherine Morales is a dedicated higher education professional with a passion for student success and program excellence. With a Master’s in Student Development and Leadership from Angelo State University and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, Katherine brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and administrative expertise to her work.
Currently serving as the Graduate Program Administrator for the Materials Science and Engineering program at UT Austin, she advises over 100 graduate students each semester, coordinates recruitment and program development, and spearheads student-focused initiatives ranging from professional development events to outreach academies for future STEM leaders.
Katherine is known for her collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and data-informed decision-making. She plays a key role in graduate committee coordination, content creation, and strategic reporting. She also serves as the Treasurer and Financial Chair for the Graduate Coordinators Network and was honored as Rookie of the Year in 2020 for her exceptional contributions.
Fluent in Spanish and highly proficient across digital platforms, Katherine is committed to fostering inclusive, supportive, and efficient academic environments.
