Sherry Quinn has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the public and private sectors. Currently, she serves as the director of graduate admissions and enrollment management in the Graduate School at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI).
In her role, Sherry oversees domestic and international graduate admissions for more than 200 doctorate, master’s, and certificate programs, collaborating with 11 schools and colleges and the Office of International Programs. She provides leadership in the implementation and maintenance of technology systems, continuous process improvement, customer service initiatives, and delivering student outreach programs and events. She also compiles and summarizes data to inform decisions related to enrollment management objectives and serves as the compliance officer regarding graduate admission policies.
Sherry earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a master’s degree in organizational communication and public relations from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI), a post-master’s graduate certificate in higher education from Oakland University (Rochester, MI), and is a graduate of the HERS Leadership Institute at the University of Denver. She is passionate about empowering team-members to take charge in their roles.
Sherry has been a member of NAGAP since 2006, and held the Treasurer position within MAGAP from 2022-24.
