Barbara Selmo, M.Ed., Ed.D., is currently the Director of Graduate Admissions at Emerson College. She is a long-serving graduate admissions professional, having lead teams at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Babson College, BU Law, and Columbia Business School. In addition to graduate admissions, Barbara has worked in PhD advising, financial aid, and university advancement. She not only has a keen interest in all things enrollment management but is also committed to staff advancement and professional development. Barbara was a first gen undergraduate and graduate; she earned degrees in English, creative writing, and education. Barbara is a published writer and lives outside Boston, MA.
